Prime Inc. Values - Associates

October 11, 2011 (Springfield, Mo.) – Prime inc. lease owner operator Siphiwe Baleka competed and won the male 40-44 division of the Powerman Muncie Sprint Triathlon on Saturday, October 1, with a time of 1:09:32. Baleka, who competes for the Endurance Films Racing Team, finished in fifth place overall.

“My last race was in August, so I had an entire month to train. I knew I had a good chance of winning,” said Baleka, who competed at the USA Triathlon Age Group Nationals earlier this season.
Due to cooler temperatures, Powerman Muncie race directors moved the race start time three hours later than originally scheduled.  Baleka took the change in stride finishing with the fastest overall swim time and the third fastest run.
“I was happy that it was a late start, but I didn’t know what to expect about racing in the cold,” said Baleka. “I have been running very well lately, so I expected to outrun anyone in my age group if it was a close race.”
Inspired by his work at Prime, paired with his passion for fitness, Baleka created Fitness Trucking Inc., a company that provides drivers with a series of exercises on DVD that can be performed while in the truck or just outside the cab in 30 minutes or less. Baleka’s participation in swimming and triathlon competitions began as a part of the fitness program.
“Every week now I am driving about 3,000 miles, cycling 110 miles, running 24 miles and swimming five miles,” said Baleka. “I just want to show other truck drivers that you can stay fit even while on the road and compete at a high level if you have the desire to do so.”
