National Truck Driver Appreciation & WELLNESS Week - Sept. 16-22, 2012

A new wellness component has been added to the Driver Appreciation Week that our industry celebrates each September.  This week hereafter will be known as National Truck Driver Appreciation & Wellness Week (NTDAWW).  Please join us in celebrating NTDAWW, September 16-22, 2012.  This annual event honors our nation's drivers for their commitment to excellence.

To incorporate wellness into this very special week the Truckload Carriers Association has named September 20th as “Ditch the Pack” day.  TCA is asking that everyone in our industry - from dispatchers to drivers to safety directors to executives - stop smoking for one day.  The goals are to raise awareness of the benefits of quitting and to show support for those starting or continuing their smoke-free journey.

Prime has a long-standing tradition of attracting and retaining the best professionals in the trucking industry.  Join us in saying thank you to the best drivers in the industry, not just during National Truck Driver Appreciation & Wellness Week, but every day throughout the year!
